Rev. Carrie Burnap

Carrie began her ministry at Forest Street Union Church in September 2011. Prior to coming to Forest Street, Carrie was at Amherst Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, New Hampshire for 18 months, serving as their interim associate pastor.

Carrie grew up in Auburn, New Hampshire. She is a graduate of Assumption College, with a double major of Theology and Philosophy and a minor in Social Rehabilitation. From there, she attended Andover Newton Theological School University, where she received her Masters of Divinity.

Carrie enjoys the wide variety of pastoral work -- preaching, worship, pastoral care, crisis ministry, spiritual direction, counseling, teaching, and working with children and youth. She loves offering Adult Education gatherings such as God in the Orchard and Knit, Purl, Pray. Regularly offering them throughout the year. Community Outreach and Mission are close to Carrie's heart, as she believes that God is woven into everything we do in life. She sees her calling from God as bringing out the Holy from the ordinary.

Carrie is married to Dean LeFrancois. Dean also received his Masters of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School . They have three children: a son Samuel (“Sammy”) and daughters Clara and Anna. Together as a family they enjoy hiking, playing games and going to the beach.
