"Get Up and Go"

The scripture for this week is Acts 8: 26- 40

In it, we hear about what happened when God came down and filled Philip. Now, Philip was a layperson, and God whispered to him, "Go to the Samaritans and preach the Gospel of Jesus’ love for all people, and then go to Gaza. These were two groups against whom Philip had been taught to harbor prejudice from birth. Yet, once filled with the Holy Spirit, there was no longer room for this hate.

This is what the world needs— for all of us to be like Philip and share our faith.

We need people who understand that God wants us to share our faith in Christ one-on-one with others.

God needs you and me to be like Philip, and thereby, we could change the spiritual lives of many!
